Problem
- Company was looking to embark on their digital transformation journey and was looking to build the consumer-facing application to start with
- Client did not have their own billing solution which was routed through Ericsson payment and billing module
- They key challenge with this system was that the consumer did not have an access to their real time consumption of services which led to dissatisfaction
- Client was not able to cross sell or upsell their services as there was no real time visibility of customers’ usage
- The other key challenge was to comprehend the backend engine built by Ericsson and integrate with the proposed application
Our Approach
- Big Oh assessed the entire architecture and created Restful APIs
- Big Oh created a middleware written in LARAVEL that could convert data from SOAP to JSON and vice versa so that the systems (Ericsson and Emtel) could seamlessly talk to each other
- Big Oh built the consumer facing digital application (Android and IOS Native)
- Big Oh custom created Content Management System (CMS) for Usage and Retention/ Marketing so that Emtel can create on the fly offers for their consumers
- Big Oh developed consumer facing in-app wallet, self care portal
