We are looking to hire a visionary COO to oversee our company’s operational processes, and to ensure a superb customer experience. The COO will optimize our company’s operating, delivery capabilities, employ strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, and manage Sales initiatives. The COO will assist in compiling the company’s budget and team up with the management to implement business, learning and development strategies. 

To ensure success, the prospect should have a clear understanding of the company’s core values and culture. Top candidates will be exemplary leaders, have superb business acumen, and have a sound understanding of business strategies. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Planning & Strategy  
    • Carry out sales forecasts and budget monitoring for a financial year  
    • Responsible for thorough analysis and present findings to the CEO or the board of directors  
    • Strategy and Planning  
    • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO  
    • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies in collaboration with management regarding the implementation of the same  

      

  2. Hiring and Retention  
    • Conduct quarterly sales review with sales team and project management team and provide any necessary coaching  
    • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention in the company  
    • Act as a key person during the hiring process and fulfilling the requirements for various departments that report into this role.  

      

     

  3. Collaboration and Work Relations 
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with employees , key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders  
    • Oversee company operations and overall productivity  
    • Build a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members continuously thrive and organizational goals are timely met  
    • Represent the department for all process initiatives at a cross functional level and to clients for reviews  
    • Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction, retention, and company goals  
    • Maintain a healthy balance between client needs and team needs and efficiently bridge the gap  
    • Develop deep rooted relationship with existing and new customers/clients  
    • Provide support in overall account management as well as business consulting, as and when required  
    • Represent the company for all staff aug initiatives and ensuring that they are efficiently executed as per the desired expectation 

      

     

  4. Learning and Development  
    • Impart learning strategy and demonstrate good leadership, cultivating a culture of empowerment, ownership and accountability  
    • Drive Training Need Analysis through mapping of competencies across all levels catering to business needs and demonstration of ROI through implementation.  
    • Define and develop strategies and curriculum (including instructor-led, off-the-shelf, computer/Web-based, virtual, & multi-media enabled training) in support of business initiatives at both the process as well as operations divisions  
    • Conduct Training Audits as per pre-defined training program guidelines  
    • Implement Learning and Training calendar roll outs across all Departments by taking input from SME, Client reviews and Management  
    • Ensure effectiveness of training and development programs & measure them using analytics to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives & methods 
    • Ensure continuous growth by designing, scoping, and sequencing various programs in order to support leadership, employees, and team effectiveness globally  
    • Present annual track and report accurately on key training metrics to the Senior management determining the effectiveness of all training programs and compliance with regulatory requirements  

      

     

  5. Sales  
    • Boost sales and enhance business practices & initiatives  
    • Oversee operations and partner with the CEO to finalize budget for investment capital and achieve growth targets for a period  
    • Control company costs and introduce tactical initiatives to address leaks  

     

  6. Process Compliance  
    • Participate in quality audits and ensure zero NC  
    • Participate in coordinating, planning, and executing audit programs
    • Handling and delivering audits per the quarterly Audit plan
    • Working closely and sharing audit outcome with CEO management (AVP / VP) and tracking issue remediation for effective closure
    • Perform data analysis to provide significant inferences and identify key risk area
    • Performing audits would entail:
      • Planning: Audit program, project tollgates, resourcing, partner support
      • Execution: Develop Risk Control Matrix, drive project plan, test controls, identify gaps 
      • Remediate: Work with partners in developing an action plan, and follow-up to closure

Qualification:

  • 15+ years of experience managing a complex enterprise’s human resources, Sales, IT, Operations, and Strategies. 
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully. 
  • Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels. 
  • Ability to make business projections three years into the future.
